A native Northern Virginian, Mr. Kattenburg has been a trial lawyer in the

A veteran of nearly 100 jury trials, Mr. Kattenburg has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth. He also represents individuals who get hurt on the job in workers' compensation claims before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. Over the years, Mr. Kattenburg has acquired a proficiency in the intricacies of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, the Federal Tort Claims Act, the Virginia Tort Claims Act, the Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Act, and the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act.
When not practicing law in his office or the courtroom, you may find him on a basketball court where he officiates high-school boys' and girls' varsity basketball. He is a past President of the Eudora Civic Association (
